Description: It's Christmas time and there's only one thing on Ralphie Parker's Christmas list this year: a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-Shot, Range Model Air Rifle, but many obstacles stand in the way of his dream because every adult that he confronts keeps telling him he'll shoot his eye out. Over the course of the film, Ralphie hides a Red Ryder advertisement in his mother's Look magazine, fibs about the spotting of grizzly bears in the neighborhood, blurts his desire outright, writes an essay on the subject, and asks an impatient Santa just as the department store closes. But will he receive his dream gift?
